Q1: Can I charge my 12V car battery directly with this UT-400 panel?

A: No, not directly. The output voltage of this panel is approx 40V-48V, which is too high for a 12V battery. You must use an MPPT solar charge controller (compatible with 48V input) to safely step down the voltage to charge a 12V or 24V battery.

A: It depends on your power station’s input limit. The UT-400 has an Open Circuit Voltage (Voc) of 48V. Please check if your power station supports PV Input Voltage up to 50V or higher. It is perfect for larger units like EcoFlow Delta Pro or Bluetti AC200, but may be too powerful for small handheld power banks.

A: The solar cells and fabric body carry an IP65 rating, making them resistant to water splashes and light rain. However, the junction box and connectors should be kept dry, and the panel should not be submerged in water.
